The 32nd Swadeshi Science Congress (SSC) will be hosted by the Central University of Kerala, Periya campus, from November 6 to 8 in association with the Swadeshi Science Movement.


The 32nd Swadeshi Science Congress (SSC) will be hosted by the Central University of Kerala, Periya campus, from November 6 to 8 in association with the Swadeshi Science Movement.

The three-day conference, themed “Transformative Science and Technology Education for a Viksit Bharat,” will bring together leading scientists, researchers, and students. The event will feature paper presentations, discussions, lectures, and debates on diverse scientific topics.

As a platform for students, research scholars, scientists, science communicators, and the public, SSC aims to promote the exchange and dissemination of scientific knowledge. This year’s congress will include 16 technical sessions, along with the C.V. Raman and P. Parameswaran Memorial Lectures.

Papers can be submitted until September 30. Young Scientist Awards will be presented to the best paper in each session, while awards will also be given for the best oral and poster presentations. Registration and further details are available at www.ssckerala.com and www.cukerala.ac.in.

The event brochure was released by Vice Chancellor Prof. Siddu P. Algur at a function held on the university campus. He noted that the Science Congress provides a valuable opportunity for students and teachers to learn and engage with experts. Registrar (i/c) Dr. R. Jayaprakash launched the official website.

Vijnana Bharati National Joint Organising Secretary Praveen Ramdas, South India Organising Secretary Abga Raveendranath Babu, and Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) Senior Scientist Dr. K. Murali Gopal also spoke on the occasion. Science Congress General Secretary Prof. Rajendra Pilankatta welcomed the gathering, and Secretary Dr. Jasmine M. Shah proposed the vote of thanks.
