Focal Theme
Transformative Science and Technology Education for Viksit Bharat
The focal theme of the 32nd SSC, “Transformative Science and Technology Education for Viksit Bharat,” underscores the critical role of education in shaping a sustainable, inclusive, and self-reliant India.
Transformative Science and Technology Education aims to:
• Cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Foster innovation, creativity, and interdisciplinary learning
• Promote ethical, responsible, and socially relevant research
• Encourage public engagement in addressing societal challenges through scientific approaches
Such transformation is essential for realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat during the Amrit Kaal, by nurturing a future-ready, scientifically literate workforce capable of driving India’s progress towards becoming a self-reliant, prosperous, and globally influential nation by 2047.
The venue of the Congress further reinforces this theme, as the National Education Policy (NEP) provides the foundational framework for enabling such transformative and holistic learning in India.
