The Departments of Comparative Literature (under the School of Languages and Comaparative Literature) and Economics (under the School of Global Studies) began functioning from Vidyanagar campus in October 2009.

The Schools of Biological and Mathematical and Physical Sciences are currently functioning in the Riverside Campus at Padanakkad. These two schools offer Msc and integrated MPhil/PhD programmes in Animal science, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Computer science, Genomic science, Physics, Plant science and Mathematics.
