Central University of Kerala collaborates with the Central Universities of Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu to conduct a national level entrance examination for admission to the MA/MSc and MPhil/PhD programmes. The test is known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). CUCET offers the students an opportunity to appear in programmes at undergraduate, integrated postgraduate, postgraduate, and research levels in these seven universities across India through a single test for each level. Important Points to Note

In all subjects other than MA (English and Comparative Literature) and MPhil (Comparative Literature), the CUCET will include Objective, Multiple Choice Questions based on General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and related to the subject of study at the graduation level for MA/MSc and Postgraduate level for MPhil MPhil (Comparative Literature) test consists of only descriptive questions

Part B for MA (English and Comparative Literature) is also descriptive The admission test will be conducted at designated centers such as Ajmer, Allahabad, Bangalore, Belgaum, Bhagalpur, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Darbhanga, Dhanbad, Dharwar, Gulbarga, Diburgarh, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur Jharkhand, Jodhpur, Kasaragod, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Madurai, Mysore, Patna, Ranchi, Shillong, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Thiruvarur and Udaipur.
